About Golden Gate Gamemakers:
Golden Gate Gamemakers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that brings together board game creators and players in the San Francisco Bay Area. We run 200+ events a year all over the Bay, providing playtesting and promotional opportunities, as well as educating through resources, outreach, and collboration.
In the Spring of 2023, an alliance of event organizers, designers, and industry colleagues pooled their efforts, unifying separate calendars, groups, and platforms into a loose community group. In 2025, Golden Gate Gamemakers became formally organized, incorporated, and obtained non-profit status.
